About

Punch The Sky create their own brand of World-Music infused Party-Rock in a raucous, genre defying show unlike any other.

Their “unique, distinctive and thrillingly energetic,” [Whats On Live] sound takes you on a wild ride, from high octane Japanese shamisen rock to the sexy sax-lines of gypsy ska jams.

Alongside artists such as Bellowhead, The Old Dance School & The Destroyers, Punch The Sky join an illustrious line of folk fusion acts emerging out of the world renowned ‘Joe Broughton’s Conservatoire Folk Ensemble’.

Now highly sought-after musicians in their own right, members of Punch The Sky have performed and recorded with Fairport Convention, The Urban Folk Quartet and Electric Swing Circus.

Punch the Sky have rocked the festival stages at Isle of Wight, Shambala, Towersey, Bearded Theory, Swingamajig, Nozstock and many more.

ALBUM II

FOR ALL I KNOW, WHEN I SLEEP I COULD BE A BEAR...

Bear [SQUARE] Cover Digital.jpg

FOR ALL... blends the sleazy swagger of Gogol Bordello, the hard rock riffs of Led Zeppelin and the cheeky sax lines of Madness.

Album number two sees the band diving into bold new musical depths, previously unexplored by the band. Latin grooves, Bulgarian rhythms and soulful folk tunes interweave with huge riffs, irreverent lyrics, prog odysseys, rap metal breakdowns and even a good ol' fashioned hoedown! It's witty and electric folk music firing on all cylinders, and not to be missed!
